I'm going to get ready for when my mother comes from work to pick me up. I'm spending the night at my parent's house, and tomorrow we're inviting my grandmother over for a turkey dinner. It will be Canada Day. Seems we have turkey on a lot of occasions besides Thanksgiving and Christmas, but that's okay.

I'm kind of hoping we'll go to some of the Canada Day activities happening tomorrow, but the last time we did my parents weren't impressed. Yeah everything here is second-rate, but it'll be something to do at least.

I'm also trying to find my lint roller to get all the cat hair off my suitcase. I don't want mom to start sneezing and being miserable when I bring it with me!

I'm having real problems with my executive functioning lately and specifically in transitioning from one activity to another. If I can tear myself away from sitting here posting and reading, I kind of want to get ready to get out of the house and go to the supermarket. But getting ready takes a lot of doing and when something is not urgent I often wind up giving up and staying home.

But if I do get out....I wanted to buy some vegetarian hot dogs, some buns, and mustard and ketchup and stuff, to make myself hot dogs for dinner. It's my small honoring of 4th of July in lieu of a proper celebration, just to eat some 4th-related food, lol.
