That is one that I haven't seen in a long time, a Supra!! ! Wouldn't be awesome if we all ended up with these dreams cars and then made one all-inclusive autism dream car club?

Party on, Wayne...
I had a friend in college who had a Pacer, and I remember us cruising around Sacramento in the 100+F heat with windows that wouldn't roll down all the way due to a designing flaw. I'd call it the Edsel of the 1970's.

I did have a chance to buy a blue one like in the pic above for $650 USD back in the mid-1990's, but was talked out of it by family and friends who were worried I'd never find parts for it.

So does my spouse who was putting around in a VW Fastback similar to the pic below around the time we met in 1985.

ah, good taste in cars she's got. I drove a squareback until some dope creamed me running the stop sign, several decades back.
another neato car-

always wanted one but the time is long past to find one in original condition or anywhere near. my seat-of-pants impression of them back in the day was that they were exceptionally smooth and quiet, and drove/rode nearly as well as my dad's old Mercedes [the Cadillac with optional hydraulic dampers]. very roomy inside for a compact car. nice and comfy, they don't make 'em like they used to. nowadays everything rides hard like a sports car. :|

Hence my appreciation of Volvo, there's dampening in everything mechanical they build. I drive one of their sportier models and even that's softer than a Jetta...

@Rockymtnchris
According to me, the MkII GTI is the official VW of VWs.

I don't see a lot of GTI's in my area anymore. I lived next to someone who had a Dasher (or Rabbet?) decades ago and I think one of my cousins used to drive a Sorocco (or whatever they called it).

I drove a rabbit [now called golf] back in the day, it was a '79 and that was the best-driving car I'd ever driven before or since. it rode better [excluding short-wheelbase hop] than a '94 air-suspended Lincoln continental, IOW it had the more supple suspension.

A.) What is your absolute Dream car? (if money was no option)

B.) If you were to buy your next car (one that is reasonably affordable and a great fit for you), what would it be?

Well, I guess if money was no option, I'd like THIS vehicle:

Cadillac Escalade

Image

I always have to keep camping, in mind----so, one that would be affordable / great fit, would be:

Chevy Silverado

Image

THIS, was my last vehicle:

Chevy Trailblazer

Image

That truck was a DREAM to drive, and for camping!!

THIS car, is my all-time FAVORITE:

1970 Chevy Chevelle SS

Image

LOVED those muscle cars!!

.....BUT, I also had a weakness for the LUXURY ones:

Cadillac Coupe de Ville

Image

~~~~~~~~~~~
I've always wanted a 5th Wheeler:
Image
.....but now, unfortunately, that just seems like too much to take care-of; so, I might just go for another Trailblazer-type truck, for my next vehicle (they quit making the Trailblazer, unfortunately).
Campin, the sight of your Chevelle pic got me all excited...One of my best friends in my teens had a yellow one with black interior and black stripes on the hood. He'd be the same age as you and me, and supposed to be a drummer in a Seattle band nowdays. Oh the times we had when he had that car!
now THIS is THE CAR-
streamlined aerodynamics for quiet slipping through the wind, hydraulic suspension for floating over the road and all its bumpiness, can't beat it with a stick. problems with dratted rust, though. :|
Awww, don'tcha just love memories, like that! I've seen a yellow one----but, that Electric Blue one, is classic, to me.
@AuntBlabby: Hey, that car, on this page, is pretty cool!!
