I was reading about different types of hairstyles and that some people call only call them "pig tails" if they're braided. If the pig tails aren't braided they're called "bunches".

I always thought pig tails were not braided. When I was a little girl I had really long hair and when my mom tied it into two braids I called them "braids", like duh.

I also learned that they originally got their name from a brand of tobacco where the leaves were twisted together. I always thought it was because they also sort of resemble the curly tails on a pig, although that could be the reason as well. And Porky Pig's girlfriend Petunia wears her own hair in pig tails.

Britain does not allow 3000 Syrian children to enter their country. As for me it's a good decision.

I'm basically Alice from The Brady Bunch. If I don't clean up after everybody else here then it doesn't get done. Even when I've been in the bed for three days with a stomach bug and somewhat dehydrated because i can't keep anything down.

I'm gonna really piss them off and hire an outside person to come in and clean up when I get over this. They will all say "why didn't you pay me to do it? I need the money!" My answer will be "Because it's your sh*t and you live here and the fact that none of it was even picked up made me assume that you were unable to do it. You let your own home go to hell because I wasn't on top of things and that's not something a person would do if they had the ability to prevent it. So either you are sick too and can't do it or you're a spoiled a**hole who won't do it because you expect me to do it all"

The first alkylating drugs were developed in the 1940s were from mustard gas agents that were used for chemical warfare before and during World War I. The first drug to be developed was mechlorethamine, which is also known as nitrogen mustard. It is the prototypical alkylating drug and is still used today for cancer. The name "nitrogen mustard" gives me the creeps.

According to McDonald's, Chicken McNuggets come in 4 shapes: the bell, the ball, the bow-tie, and the boot.

Rosie the Riveter's name was actually taken from a song in the early 1940s.

Hot water is actually quite refreshing to drink.

I think skinny arms look quite nice. :skull:

Rowlf, the piano-playing dog on The Muppet Show, was originally a mascot for Purina Dog Chow.
