Went a day without my meds, felt like garbage, went to the pharmacy and got my refills...my body must have missed them terribly because I slept 14 hours straight.

Social interactions have been pretty horrible today, I am not going to lie, I have considered quite a bit of self harm today but instead I have just been gaming. Progress maybe? I would be pretty crazy dealing with these emotions a year ago. It still hurts but I care so much less now then I did.

We are creatures of our environment before any other variable, you can kinda see why some people have so many problems when you examine their past. We are all broken in different ways from different past experiences and it makes us who we are for better and for worse.

Give yourself ½ an hour or more if you can spare it throughout your day when things get too much. Find somewhere dark, quiet, cool and ALONE throughout your day on days that you feel socially overloaded and/or suffering from sensory issues. I find it works wonders. Even just ½ an hour can help. We have a wonderful, dark, cool sickroom at work and I quite often retreat from the world at lunchtime in there.
