Finished my contract today in London. Manager says I did a good job and presented me with a thank you card and a bottle of wine. Really thankful. Been contracting for 17 years and this is the first time someone has done this...well appreciated and boosted my confidence through the roof :)

I had Jury Duty, today. We were a Hung Jury. Why would this make me happy? Cuz I was one of the ones holding-out, and would not compromise my integrity----I was not gonna be swayed, so we could go home early, or because I wanted to say what would make others like me----and, I'm very happy, about that!!

I don't know if karma is real or not, but last week I saw someone drop 5 pounds so I let them know about it before they were too far away so they could get it back, and now today I ended up doing the same thing but someone let me know so I could get it back. It's probably just a coincidence, but I like to think of it as a reward for being nice.

I switched out my boring language course with a world religions course. Since I took world religions multiple times in high school and know loads of stuff about various mythologies, I think I will do really well. :D
