they're still sick freaks that should be castrated, they're the reason the stuff gets produced. The actual producers deserve nothing less than death IMO.

OMG what have I done?

Can we just agree that the isolated pedophile city is a good idea? They have said themselves its a good idea for non offenders.

Please don't let this thread be hijacked into a discussion of paedophilia. If this happens, it will be locked.

Have you read it, DCJ? It's about how to manipulate your way into a kingship, basically.

Yeah see I read Machiavelli more as a document of early modernity prefiguring liberalism by a willingness to examine actual human sociopolitical behaviour without the baggage of moral/religious teleology or what it feels nice to believe about people. Way interested the strong influence Mach had on Spinoza who is BTW like an aspie hero in some circles. But what do i know I'm just a skank who swears too much to have a brain amirite?

But ANYWAY-- you totally win. Imma go wrap up a couple of threads and a few PM discussions but otherwise I'm done here. Thanx for doing your part to prove beyond any possible shadow of a doubt that my affective empathy differences completely aren't coming from an aspie place and I'm not deluding myself to think I'm sociopathic. The cognitive benefit from not having this argument circling through my head is absolutely ginormous. I do apologise I got a bit carried away but since there was no way I could do this without dumping almost my worst evil stuff out in public -- well I hope you can understand if I thought I might as well have fun!

So bubyes everyone! Be good be safe be happy. Seriously, please be happy. There are horrifying numbers of unhappy people here and no one is helping them.

Discrimination, this doesn't apply to most people I know but I still have to deal with people who do this unfortunately

I can relate to this, swearing is so stupid and I can't stand having to listen to someone who does nothing but swearing, especially when they force a swear word in their sentence.

I myself used to swear occasionally but I managed to do it less and less to the point where I don't swear at all

If I meet someone who swears compulsively in every single sentence, then I have no interest whatsoever in pursuing any attempt at dialogue with them. To me it signals an insensitivity that is boorish and unmannered.

the list would be a long one, but over the years i've learned to recognize that nearly anything i can think of also happens to be a flaw that i have (if not all the time, then at least once in a while), rather than just something "everybody else" has, or even "people i dislike". in many cases people we dislike are really opposites in most ways, but i think it's not uncommon for anyone to end up strongly disliking someone for their (undesirable) similarities rather than their differences

in the end i think the one thing left in my list is an unwillingness to acknowledge that s**t happens, and not everything is someone's fault. resentment happens, but it shouldn't determine the fate of as many things in the world as it does
