I suffer with anxiety issues and I get terribly stressed, but I've never smoked to deal with it. I tried cigarettes when I was, like 12, to look big and cool in front of my older brother and his friends (who all smoked), and I was a rather anxious and isolated teenager but I still seemed to have the ability to not get hooked for life. I didn't see the point, because I was only 12 so I didn't have the money to buy cigarettes anyway, and I didn't want to get hooked on it because I didn't want my lungs to become black. Yuk.

I know smokers think that non-smokers think that they are bad people for smoking, but I don't think people who smoke are bad people. It's nothing to do with how bad a person is. Some really bad people don't smoke. But I do think it's not the answer to all the world's problems. It's just an addiction to nicotine that the body can't live without once one has started (unless they are strong enough to quit).

I've been smoking since about September of last year (2018), when I bought a pack of Newport Reds to begin my journey as a smoker.

I don't really have since of brand loyalty in all honesty, sometimes I treat myself to premiums but otherwise I try to stick with budgets instead (I don't have a job so I might as well go easy on the wallet). If I had to pick a favourite cigarette, I would probably say Camel Turkish Royals.

I Average roughly, two to three cigarettes per day.

I about due to purchase a pack some time today so, wish me luck.

I quit twenty years ago. I started when I was around 9 years old but that was very intermittent. I smoked regularly for about ten years. Yuck. Terrible habit. I find the smell abhorrent now.

I did, but not anymore...I was smoking American Spirits.

I have just been vaping instead, the bulky box mod set up didn't get me to stop smoking, but I used that to smoke less. But then I heard some about pod devices and salt nicotine, and figured I'd try it. The salt nicotine feels more comparable to a cigarette and I prefer a small discreet device to a big battery box with a e-liquid tank on it.

I smoke on and off. I know I shouldn't be doing it in the first place, but that nicotine rush you get with the first smoke of the day feels so good.

But let's face it, smoking is a drug, and I like drugs. For a long time, drugs were one of my special interests. It's subsided, but I still find pharmacology to be an interesting subject.

Used to be a heavy smoker during four years, at first started with a social smoking at college, later couldn't refuse from a cigarette at all. Managed to kick the habit thanks to an e-cig, later switched to nicotine-free and I have to say I started feeling much better since then.
