Same question.

The first half of 2019 was awful, but the second half has been great- every year has its ups and downs but 2019 has been a year of complete opposites for me .

What would be the ideal way to celebrate/spend your birthday?

I just had a birthday a few days ago. But if I had one coming up soon (for the way I am feeling now), I would like to jump into a time machine and go back to this fine restaurant that is now no more that my parents used to take me to on my birthdays in the '70s. The place was beautiful and the food outstanding. It was such a special and magical place for me. And now the ground upon which it sat is nothing more than a big expanse of old concrete. The building is gone forever. But my memories survive. I would like a birthday dinner there again.

Who was your favorite 1970s singer/performer?

Marc Bolan/T Rex 1971-72, Bowie mid-70s, Blondie late 70s.

Who's your favourite 1960s band or musical artiste?

The Beatles, though I'm not as familiar with their works as I used to be.

Best female vocalist of the 1960s?

Dusty Springfield. I know very little about Julie Andrews as a musical performer.

Have you ever been able to get into Bob Dylan?

i read that he was a full-of-himself bully, rather like don maclean. wrote some good songs, though. never cared for his singing style or voice.

Never got into him. Thought his performance of Like A Rolling Stone at Monterey was pretty good though.

What do you think was the best performance at the 1967 Monterey festival?
