I hate them - they're noisy.
But I like robotic ones. The little robot that remembers to sweep every day makes my life better.

I prefer having them around than not.

When I was a kid I was fascinated by Dyson ones cos you can see what's inside.

One thing that interests me now & will interest Magz is - you can get noise free/noise reduced ones!

Nowadays I'm just learning to 'keep house' as old fashioned housewives used to put it. I know you can vac carpet. But only this week I learnt it's sometimes a good idea to go over stone floors with a vac once you've swept up. For example if you smash glass on the floor.

I definitely find the robotic ones very amusing, I want one someday.

As a toddler they interested me and I wanted to know how they work. Now I don't really give a crap about them. They just make my house cleaner. lol

Good song naturalplastic. I have some of his CDs, digitally not physical 1s. Our cat doesn't like the vacuum but she's not terrified of it. She has a knack for getting in the way when she's trying to stay away from it. I go in a certain pattern & she's just ahead of whatever spot I'm ready to move from. I hated the noise of the vacuum when I was little but it doesn't really bother me now. A couple of the jobs I had involved me working with or around loud machines & I did some vacuuming as well & I kinda learned to tune noise out.

I'd find it weird.

Cause it'll be a rare encounter for me.
Never held a vacuum cleaner before. Never held anything like it either.

Me! :)

I vacuum my room on a weekly basis and help my mom vacuum parts of our house that she's unable to do.
