The sound of loud cars racing up and down streets, what is this an audition for the Formula 1 race

How do you deal when things don't go as planned?

worst sounds - human voices on tv, movies, news, weather, traffic, radio announcers, etc. because my brain can't tune them out and wants to listen. The worst is if it's quiet in the distance and I strain against my will. Waiting rooms with people and televisions / telephones are the worst. I also go berserk from crinkle sounds and packaging. I literally can't tolerate it. It's like torture to me and I have to cover my ears or leave the room.

when things don't go as planned - depends, but my first thought is 'meltdown' or 'try to avoid meltdown'. If it's an innocent change of plans I'm OK but if it's due to a major incompetence from someone I get very stressed.

Generally well tbh. I've been more spontaneous person generally so I just see what happens.

However idiotic changes like getting an appointment then the person goes on maternity leave a week later I won't hold back my frustration. It's not like she have known she was pregnant or planning leave

If I'm having a bad day though and a change happens I'll probably cry about it as that's how I meltdown.

Do you like routines in everyday living?

Yes, but my routines appear very unstructured or nonexistent to other people. They aren't really noticeable to the untrained eye. :P I don't do things in a specific order or according to the clock, but I do everything nearly the same way every time. My daily routine also has to involve a lot of shutdown / rest / stim time or else I get very stressed. Hence, my pillow fort.

Do you wash up after each meal or at the end of the day?

I use the same cup for everything and have reused plates, so no.

What do you think you would do if you somehow ended up 600 pounds?

(I'm watching My 600-lb Life, and when I see this show I always wonder what I'd even do if I was that weight. 8O )

My favourite tea is chamomile tea.

What was one of your favourite toys as a child (if you remember one)?

play-doh
Holly Hobbie and ragdolls
The Honey Hill Bunch (ragdolls)
realistic bathtub boats
Fisher Price Little People
my record player
plushies especially Leonard and Twitch

My ultimate best things were my playfort made of bed linens hanging from the ceiling for walls, my backyard tent, and my Holly Hobbie cardboard playhouse.

No, I don't even read news online. No radio, don't watch TV, wouldn't have known about Covid if not for jimmy_m.

I'm happily oblivious.
