Isabella, my GF has an enquiring mind as you know and therefore this post is from her.
As you can smell numbers and also smell colours , what happens if the number has a different colour , is it a fusion smell or a new smell entirely i.e Red smells like bananas , 9 smells like custard , would a red 9 smell like bananas and custard?
Do you mean if the number has a different colour from what I'd expect?
Example:
For me, 5's are blue and they smell like water or fresh air. So does regular blue - when not on numbers.
If I saw a red five (... ouch that hurts just imagining it ... ), I think I'd be so freaked out I wouldn't even look lol
If I had to look at it
, I'm pretty sure the colour smell would happen before the number smell.
Example: red smells like the air inside of a fire truck. I think I'd smell that instead of smelling the five.
I'll have to find some examples to play with.
It wouldn't be a hybrid smell, but it would still mess with my head for a number to be the wrong colour.
Hope that makes sense? It happens so quickly and subconsciously it's hard to analyse.

Do only visual numbers smell or do vocal numbers (spoken numbers) smell too and if vocal numbers smell does it matter who says the number i.e Ferris saying 9 smells like ferret s**t . MissLizard saying 9 smells like burnt toast.
All numbers have colours and smells and personalities whether visual or spoken or just imagined.
No it wouldn't matter whose voice it is.
For example, if I heard you say the number Six for some reason, it would still smell like firetrucks.
Even if you didn't brush you teeth.
The texture of the number would be different in GF's voice, even though you're both silky.
