I do this. I used to think this was the only way shoes ever got tied. I recently found out that most people don't tie shoes this way.

That's how I tie my shoes. It's easier for me.

I think I do as well. Because I struggled with learning to tie them the regular way as a child, I was shown this mention and have used it ever since.

Bunny ears FTW. Easy to do, easy to untie.

Kind of,except I have extremely long laces on my Nike SB blazer high tops.
So I'm doing loops four times over.

I thought that was the main way people tied shoes. That's the only method I know. Thou I'd always wore shoes with velcro whenever I had a choice, my schools uniform policy required loafers.

No, it took me forever to learn to tie shoelaces, but I never had to resort to the bunny-ears method.

So do I, otherwise I wouldn't have taken years longer than my peers.

It took me a long time to learn too. Even as an adult, it seems to take me longer to tie my shoes than most people.

Bunny ears is harder imo than the normal way, and it takes more coordination.

I learnt the normal way when I was five.

Except for my shoes for ball hockey I tend to leave mine loose enough to not need to untie them.
If that's an option, it's a good one to exercise.

Yeah, I do that most of the time unless it involves my hiking boots.

When I was a kid the bunny ears method is how I originally learned to tie my shoes, but I don't do it that way anymore, not since I was a kid. But whatever works. One method is not better than another.

My son took forever to learn.
I forget how old he was.
I want to say 11 or 12?
He's mensa gifted and totally brilliant.
He was even athletic and coordinated.
Couldn't tie his shoes, his cleats or his skates.
I felt so badly for him.

It's a real struggle for some people.
