I got a wedding invitation. From a friend. I've only ever been to three weddings before, two of them being those of cousins, and one of my half sister. Two of these were when I was a child. I'm usually not a big fan of these types of parties, but I have a bit of interest in weddings since I haven't seen many live (I've watched maybe too many reality TV shows about it though), and this a first time that I got invited to one without it being a family obligation. I mean, the cousins that invited me invited all their cousins, and there's a lot of us, and it's pretty obvious that if my half sister had left one out of her three underage half siblings without an invitation, it would've been socially questionable, so yeah...

I'm all happy now, but closer to the day, I bet panic about what to wear (what's appropriate and all) etc. is gonna hit me. I really don't want to mess anything up. And I don't want to mess anything up between me and said friend, or her husband to be who I also know, either.

I talked to my aunt today who I haven't seen since 2013.

While texting to a friend in a bar on the other side of the planet, I made her think a thought about the barman that expressed enough on her face to make the barman blush.

Why does that impress me?

woke up @ the perfect time, 4:30am.

nobody bothered me today.

zero symptoms.

zero physical pain.

no overeating yet and it's 8pm.

Last night was the first night that I didn't cry because the Olympics were over. It would have happened a might sooner if not for The Rolodex Lady.

I told some patronising jerk to bugger off.

Dean, Barb and I went to visit Susan. We went to McDonald's.

When my business partner told me he was quiting to solely focus on his core personal interests. Incredibly courageous. I love watching people follow their hearts and succeed.
