The first time I heard New Kids on the Block on the radio, I thought I was listening to a Monkees song.

from being stoned or anything outlandish,
the sort of fear that everything cease to exist when you're on the toilet,
falling down in whatever, in that position.....................................
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ye get a bit of that falling feeling when the lids are unexpectedly up
who knew?? toilet-related injuries and deaths
history with that

I've reached the age where I'm starting to think that braces (US translation: suspenders) are a better solution than a belt for the perennial problem of unintentional trouser descent (UTD).

I'm artistically dyslexic. Perhaps the correct term is dysartic?
I never understand art. It means nothing to me until someone explains it to me, and then I think it's really cool that someone thought to do that.
Poetry? Incomprehensible. Prose, no problem.
I never know what songs are about, unless it's really obvious like in a Country song. But then I find Country songs to be
maudlin, corny, or both.
The true, or inner/deeper meaning of a book? WTF are you talking about? When I read a book I experience it, and I either like the experience or I don't. Looking for its 'meaning' takes the joy out of it.
I could go on, but you get the picture.

I'm willing to explore different avatars and ideas, but I always come back to the things I prefer.

Looking at Schultz is like looking at myself.

Sometimes I like thinking inside my head and sometimes I like thinking outside my head

I hate it when I'm watching telly and I suddenly remember that I'm just watching people playing pretend

It really ruins the magic of it all for me that does

I always think it's October at this time of year. Every single year this happens to me

It completely messes with my head. I think it's a change of season thing or something

Sometimes I struggle to find something to watch on Netflix that isn't dubbed and then when I do find something that isn't dubbed I sit here imagining what it would look like if it was dubbed

I used to wouldn't say "grapefruit" because I couldn't understand why it has "grape" in its name

Then I decided to just chill out about it
