Tell me about it.

Sadly the number keeps going up. Not stonks. This sucks.

I am such a lazy person. I've been buying cheese that's pre-shredded so that I don't have to grate it myself. And baby-cut carrots that are already peeled. And sometimes I've even bought mushrooms that are already sliced. I've heard that sliced bread is the greatest invention ever, but when it's other foods that means I'm lazy.

Oh well. *Yawn*

I do all those things. Cheese, carrots, and mushrooms, all ready-chopped to size.

Laziness is a virtue, not a vice. Getting out of tedious, menial chores is normal and natural, and absolutely nothing to be ashamed of unless the boring work is being fobbed off onto others. I once read that Bill Gates said he always considered choosing the laziest employee for a task, because it was the lazy ones who were good at figuring out the easiest way to do it.

I think this work ethic thing is not much more than a cruel propaganda trick by employers who are actually trying to fob their boring work off onto other people, and to make them feel guilty about not taking on a lifetime of total boredom.

It looks like I'm going to the food bank this morning. I hope there's a bigger selection than there was last time.
