Is it a big province?

No, but the cities are scattered between the mountains.

Ah, so even if the distance is short "as the crow flies", it can still take ages to drive or by train because the routes aren't direct.

As usual, I couldn't sleep like an actual Earthling human. I woke up at around 10 AM after maybe falling asleep at around 4-5 AM. And even though it's not yet officially June it's hot and humid, and my bedroom was really stuffy. At around 11 I decided if I can't sleep I might as well be up, but I just know my brain cells are dying because of this.

Summer is going to be awful. The wildfires will be worse than ever and it's all because of climate change that people still live in a river in Egypt about. And then when fall comes and it finally gets cooler, I'll have to worry about infectious diseases more than usual. The world is a human cesspool.

This is true for me but instead of it being my Dad it is my mother. It is frustrating.

Was sprawled out on the floor doing my drawing and really getting into my audiobook, when a pregnant spider scuttles across the floor near me, seemingly showing off her sack near her arse. I put her in a glass jar but don't have the balls to tip her outside in case she runs up my arm or something, so I'll have to get my partner to do it - without killing her of course. I'm just panicking about how she got pregnant, I mean there must be a male spider lurking around somewhere.
