Vintage TV and magazine ads from the 50s and 60s never fail to surprise me for how incredibly sexist they were. I just saw one ad that showed a woman on her knees while serving her husband a meal in bed with the phrase "Show her it's a man's world". It was an ad for a neck tie. Apparently, the necktie the husband was wearing contains some kind of mind -controlling device that turns her into an obedient slave with no will of her own.

And if saying that makes me a feminist, then I guess I'm guilty as charged. You believe women shouldn't be treated like slaves and like, REAL PEOPLE, you're a feminist. :roll:

Praying for Israel and Iran. I have anxiety over it but I know it pales in comparison to what both countries are going through. I wish there could be peace.
