I have never ridden on a horse. I have ridden in carriages pulled by horses however.

I won't ride anything that doesn't have an "off" switch.

I rode a donkey when I was a kid. Never a horse.

I went a few times as a child, up until I became deathly allergic to horses. Between allergy shots and modern allergy medicine, I have been able to ride as an adult without my airways closing up though.

It's fun, I think the big risk though is them getting spooked, which isn't something I've had to deal with.

When I was a kid I rode on a horse in a corral, but I've never ridden a horse.

Now that I think of it, I have ridden a camel too in my earlier years, although camels are classified differently than horses.
