I traded in Series 1 of Ashes To Ashes at CEX this afternoon. Eight episodes on three discs, everything in mint condition....

So how much did that fetch? An exchange voucher for 20p. If you opt to take cash instead, it's 10p.

There was a time when those places offered decent value for sellers.

But on the other hand I don't like that the pain has come back this week

This makes me unhappy because I thought it was gone

But it's normal to still be in pain with it at 3 weeks after the brake so that's a bit of reassurance at least

My car bonnet didn't shut properly today. Have to go to a garage to get it sorted but I didn't plan this and I find garages really intimidating places.

Is the problem with the latch binding?

Hi, thanks for asking. :D
No, not realy, because the latch works. Someone crashed into my car a couple years ago and since then the bonnet hasn't been properly aligned with the rest of the car. So it does open a little with the latch, but then it's stuck. It can't properly open or close. :(

Ah. That could be a pain to fix, depending on how out of alignment everything is.

A few weeks ago my car's hood wouldn't latch closed again, but it just required the pullrod (or however you want to refer to it) to be lubricated. I was hoping the problem you were facing was going to end up being like that.

Best of luck with getting it sorted out.

I won't be happy if I find United Utilities are "at it" with the water pressure

One of our neighbours got a message off them saying the pressure could be low due to "drought measures"

I don't like the sound of that
And it's a strange coincidence that the weather's a lot cooler today and I've managed to get a decent shower and I've managed to get a washing done

Go figure

Thanks! I'm glad that your problem was easy to fix. Mine requires a bit more, but hey, that's life.
