My car bonnet didn't shut properly today. Have to go to a garage to get it sorted but I didn't plan this and I find garages really intimidating places.
Is the problem with the latch binding?
Hi, thanks for asking.
No, not realy, because the latch works. Someone crashed into my car a couple years ago and since then the bonnet hasn't been properly aligned with the rest of the car. So it does open a little with the latch, but then it's stuck. It can't properly open or close.

Ah. That could be a pain to fix, depending on how out of alignment everything is.
A few weeks ago my car's hood wouldn't latch closed again, but it just required the pullrod (or however you want to refer to it) to be lubricated. I was hoping the problem you were facing was going to end up being like that.
Best of luck with getting it sorted out.
