When you accidentally press a different button on your TV remote and a complicated menu appears on the screen that you can't get rid of, you have lost the channel you were on, and even turning the TV off and on again doesn't reset it.

When a person that I trusted preaches the Bible to me when I tell them how I identify.

Loud motorcycles. They should be designed to be as quiet as the average car. There's no need for them to be loud and annoying. Whenever a really loud one comes towards me I feel like kicking it angrily.

When people online keep adding "for the record" and "so to speak" in every other sentence.

I don't like these either. They are so annoying when they creep up on you in traffic and make a loud noise.

Every time my mom gives me instructions, I feel the need to get a stop watch or something. Every few words she pauses to think and I'm like come on spit it out. This only happens when she gives instructions. This has all been happening since she got that tumor.

Silencing motorcycles is actually quite a challenge, which is probably why they are given more lee way then cars. Air cooled bikes in particular are by their nature exposed to the atmosphere, and fully enclosing them would take away the main reason they exist, i.e. their nippyness and economy.

There’s no excuse for loud pipes though (the main problem) and Harleys in particular seem to get away with way too much. Be aware though, that they are not the only culprits, and there’s many a time I’ve seen people assuming the noise comes from bikes, when in fact it was the car next to them that was the culprit.

Attention-seekers on forums that the same people seem to pander to for years and don't seem to ever get 'sympathy fatigued'.

Not referring to anyone here, just another forum I was on.

The summer heat. It gives me hives and it clashes with my Gingerbread world.

When I get flashbacks of the severe social isolation I suffered during my adolescent years and it's like the memories are laughing at me and taunting me and presently gives me depression and even anxiety.

I bet the severely non-verbal autistic boy down the road had more friends than I did. That is the only reason why I'm not bothering to get reassessed, having 0 friends like that at 14 years old is not normal even for an Aspie/ADHDer.

When every condition a person can be born with claims to have "average lifespan" even if it involves many lifelong physical complications, but when you type in autism and lifespan it comes up with results suggesting that autism reduces lifespan by a mile and that we're supposed to only live to like 40 years old.

Jeez, I never knew autism was the most deadly neurological disorder out there. How do you guys manage to live past middle age?
