I was so disgusted with my TV viewing habits that I turned off the TV and left my apartment. I was away from 1 until 4 in the afternoon.

Whenever I get reminded of how much teenagers have social lives with their friends, I become depressed and get unpleasant flashbacks of my horrible lonely teenage years that were unusually isolating even for an Aspie.

Yesterday one of the roommates I was signing a lease with bailed out on us and now we have to find a new person at the last minute. She had led us to believe for 2 months that she could live with us and then she denied that she'd made a commitment. Our theory is that she had us as her backup plan but still told us that she would definitely sign a lease with us. At the end, instead of telling us that, she told several more lies that contradicted each other, presumably to "spare our feelings", but of course it just pissed us off even more.

So yeah. Fun.

The a**holes upstairs are moving heavy furniture around, I thought it was a jet engine falling out the sky. Can't live like this any more. Landlords don't care.

I had the neighbours above trying to demolish their bedroom at 2am. Bastards.

It looks as if Poundland is no longer selling milk - certainly hasn't been any for the past two weeks. The place is generally looking a bit sorry for itself now, with quite a few gaps on the shelves. I'm beginning to fear the worst...
