I honour the little green man every time I cross the street.

Those were the pre-1950s little green men. Along with elves, pixies, fairies etc.

In the Hopkinsville goblin incident

Interestingly the aliens had shared characteristics of pixies, goblins and elves. It's likely a case of misidentification of small gray aliens. Like the grays, elves and fairies had a habit of abducting humans. Also fairies are described as attractive females. Again abductees report meeting attractive female alien-human hybrid females. A loet of coincidences might suggest the "little people" have been visiting earth for centuries.

The inconsistencies suggest that it's probably all a bunch of tall-tales.

There is no reason for alien beings to resemble humans.

That people think they do says a lot about their beliefs, but nothing about what they have seen.

The day that one of any of those things actually appears, as in the way something that's actually real appears, I'll believe in them the way I believe in other verifiably real things. Like all of the weird strange rare creatures that are known to really actually exist.

Owls actually exist.

Paranormal and extraterrestrial beings have never been conclusively proven.

How is concluding that natural phenomenon and creatures are most likely responsible unreasonable, exactly?

That's what I'm saying. There are a lot of really weird strange and rare creatures, that we absolutely know really exist. Not so after all this time regarding little green men, bigfoot, chupacabra etc. They all fall into the same category as leprechauns and unicorns. They are not real.

According to article link I posted - five adults and seven children arrived at the Hopkinsville police station claiming that small alien creatures from a spaceship had been attacking their farmhouse and that they had been holding them off with gunfire "for nearly four hours".

a) owls don't walk on two legs
b) owls don't attack homes
c) I guarantee these people have seen owls before.

Great horned owls are tall and they do walk on two legs just like other birds do.

They can be very aggressive towards people, especially when nesting, just like other birds.

Folie à famille: A term used when a family (more than two people) shares a delusion. Look up cases of folie à famille.

I just want to give more attention to this claim.

How do owls walk, if not on two legs?

How did your own internal BS detector not catch this comment before you hit Reply?

Come on man, do better.

True - they... hover. But that's only when their tiny bicycles are away for repair.

/s if that wasn't already clear.

Many years ago, we had a family of owls that lived in our attic. I thought it was kind of cool.

We left them alone until the baby owls could fly and they left and then we closed up the hole they got in through.

Note that they might have been able to get in through a vent under the eaves, but the roof was shallow enough that it doesn't seem likely that they were flying around inside the attic.
