I can't stop my mind from coming up with ideas: practical solutions for everyday life, like apps, clothes, training gear, furniture, etc.

Right now, I'm watching Fiona Cauley, who has Friedreich's ataxia, on This Past Weekend. My first thought was a comfortable spine decompression device for 5–10 minutes multiple sets a day. My rough idea is something you put under your armpits that you control with your hands to lift yourself up with the press of a button. You could strap in if necessary.

Does anyone here think the same way?

Yeah I'm a practical thinker

My family say that I overthink everything, I say they underthink everything. My mind is always seeking and analyzing the patterns in life that fascinate me.

People who don't think that way complicate matters without knowing it.
Like picking a room design that makes maintenance harder and more expensive.

If you have original ideas, don't share them or store them on internet-connected devices. Write them in a journal or save them on offline digital devices. They could prove useful later, for creating your own products and profiting from them.

I don't believe in patents unless you run a big company. Otherwise, you're just broadcasting your ideas globally, and Chinese companies will steal them first.

I forgot another important point. I'll post it later when it comes back to me.

This is relatable. I've used that phrase as a response before.

The best mind I’ve seen so far is Zack’s: the creator of the JerryRigEverything YouTube channel. He’s built a bunker, an EV, an off-grid solar power system, rainwater storage, an elevator for his wife, a better electric wheelchair for her, and he grows his own food.

Yeah that's true that is

My dad always used to say "babybird, never buy a house at the bottom of a hill". I've extended this thought to "edges of cliffs and riverbanks"
