If yes, how do you feel about it?

If no, would you want your parents to have Facebook and "friend" you?

My parents do not have Facebook. I wouldn't mind if my parents ever got Facebook. I have over 200 friends and its not like my parents are gonna ask "Who's this?" over 200 times.

My parents do not have facebook. If I had them on my friends, I would be removing my activity. I do not want them to see what I say in the autism groups. I have my brother though and I don't really care what he sees.

My dad is dead.

My mum is so technologically impaired. I once tried to teach her how to use a computer. I gave up because it was frustrating trying to teach her how to move the cursor and click.

I wouldn't want her to be my friend on facebook even if she knew what facebook was because she would see all my wall comments about rude things and my pictures.

Thats interesting because my brother has facebook but I am not his friend. I don't want him to see my activities.

My parents aren't on Facebook and if they were I would make my profile private and not add them.
My brother is though and I added him as a friend. He rarely goes on it though, there's not much he can do on there with him being 10 and all.

Wow 10 year old on facebook, thats the lowest I've heard of so far. Most kids get facebook at 12/13 nowadays

My cousin got hers when she was 11.
My brother asked me to make him a facebook so he can add my friends. He goes on MSN as well and he uses that a lot to talk to my cousin and one of my friends.

So I'm guessing your brother doesn't have much friends his age (like his classmates) on facebook?

Mine are both on there, they have friends their age on there. I'm just 19 so they are still fairly young. At first I didn't 'friend' them, but I don't mind them being on there now. I just don't like to friend little kids (like my friends siblings) because I don't always know what's appropriate and inappropriate.

My mum does. She's on it, all the time.

My parents are on Facebook, and I don't have much of a problem with it, as I don't have much to hide.

I have a ten year old brother who uses Facebook for the games, which is fine when you know how to block all the Farmville requests.

His friends aren't on facebook but their older siblings are and he's sort of friends with them in real life.

Neither of my parents have Facebook accounts because they're both bad with computers. I do have some family members who have Facebook pages, though, and I refuse to add them. I have a lot of personal information on my Facebook page that I wouldn't want anyone in my family to see; and how would I know if any one of my family members will go snitching to my parents about the stuff on my Facebook? That's why I won't take any chances with adding them as friends.

My parents are on Facebook. I regret that my Mom friended me because she sometimes pokes me 6x/week, or e-mails me to ask "why haven't you posted in 3 days" or something annoying. But it also is nice to know that I have a way to communicate with her other than by phone because that typically doesn't go so well.

But I also keep my Facebook account very private and pretty much just to family and very close friends. I don't friend acquaintances or people from work. I imagine if I were in college, I'd probably create a separate account just for family and a separate one for friends.

I did get the first text message ever from my Dad a few weeks ago. I thought I'd die of shock. Ha ha ha. But haven't gotten one since, and I doubt that he'd know how to read one if I sent one to him. He has a pay-as-you-go phone, so it'd probably also cost him 25 cents per text.
