This thread is inspired by the deluge of "yes-or-no" questions that are everywhere on this site. They annoy me. :x
"Do aspies do this...?"
"Have you ever been here...?"
"Would you ever do this...?"

I like open-ended questions that start with...
"Why do you think...?"
"What were the reasons behind...?"
"How could this...?"

So... what do you think about yes-or-no questions?

What kind of poll is this... I choose not to vote!

In all seriousness though, I much prefer open ended questions but yes-no style questions can have their purpose too.

Yes. I recently moved and had to find a new psychologist, and I had to fill out paperwork for it. The first two pages drove me nuts, because they were nothing but questions asking me if this or that applied to me, yes or no, and almost every answer for me was somewhere in the middle.

I like Yes or No Questions because they are easier to answer than questions where I have to explain things

No I do not. They only drive me crazy if my answer isn't a yes or no because it's not black and white and that person wants a yes or no answer.

I don't mind as long as I get the chance to explain my answer. Sometimes people get annoyed if ya do that. :?

I only get annoyed if you don't give me a direct answer. You can explain your answer after you answer my question directly. :D
