Had no idea where to post this but I asked my mother to cut my hair and she's left me with less than 2cms! I'm so cross right now - I know it's just hair and it will grow back but now I look like a damn convict. I was going to post this in the Haven, but I really don't think this is on the same level as being suicidal so that would have been a tad dramatic. Urgh... I'm so upset. I'm glad I'm an Aspie since I barely go anywhere, but still mad. Well, not really mad anymore, just very annoyed.

I wonder if there's some way that you could tell your mum not to cut it so short, next time. Maybe you could try to reason with her by saying that and explaining why.

Trust me - I'm never letting her anywhere near it again...

Nah, embrace it! People who look okay with hair look okay without any at all. Clean it all off!

I actually find shorter hair attractive, but then again I can't look at anyone attractive in public for a full second and you're a hemisphere away and don't go out much, er never mind

My mom cut my hair short just before I left for college. Now I look like a lesbian.

Well hair takes time to grow back x_x If my mom did that, well yeah.

LOL - am loving the various responses! Thanks for making me giggle about it at least - and it will grow back but until then I have to walk around looking like a convict/lesbian (I feel your pain @Albirea).
But on the up side I have spoken to her about it and her attitude towards appearance in general and told her to back off. She was very apologetic at least.

I love it when I, as well as other women, rock the short-haired look. But that's probably because I'm bi and lean more towards lesbianism, so I actually want to attract teh wimminz.

That being said, I'm sure you look... fantastic.

I'm kidding. About the winking part. I'm sure you do look fine though. At the very least, you'll never have to worry about washing your hair.

Ha ha - you know, it might not be so bad to look like a lesbian if other girls start checking me out... I'm not that way inclined, but I'm sure it would be an ego boost nonetheless

Go to the drug store an get some prenatal vitamins. They are harmless if you take them as directed, without other vitamins, and they make your hair grow fast.

Could that help with male-pattern baldness Or would that be a bad idea for guys to try
