Well I'll have all to say to all of you who agree with this ridiculous theory is that one of the greatest geniuses of the last century was also a racist. His name is William Shockley, Nobel prize winner, inventor of the transistor and also highly suspected of being an Aspie. He was utterly convinced of the intellectual inferiority of black people and advocated eugenics.

Disclaimer (I guess this is mandatory ): I am very much opposed to racism and view it in a negative fashion.

I do not think that racism is in any way inherently linked to a lack of intelligence. Now, it is possible that today the average racist is less intelligence then the average person (the link rightly explains that, for example Hitler's Aryan theories were complete nonsense). But there was once a time when racist attitudes were considered to be at the forefront of progressive thoughts. One should be cautious about drawing these conclusions too far.

As long as people generalize, there will always be racism.

I do not believe that all Racists are stupid, but delusional and hateful. People with lower IQs are just more susceptible to being racist due to their lack of brain power, understanding, vulnerability not to question things and take the hateful route, and often weaker minds. Intelligent people can be racists too. Take Hitler, for instance, and many KKK members. Racism is totally wrong.

My brother's a racist but he's pretty clever.

I think a good example of a intelligent racist is David Duke. Wolf Blitzer interviewed him a couple months ago and totally underestimated him, Duke had total control of the interview.
