Now I have become,
lord of darkness,
master of Ravens,
and other nugatory things.

For I am Poe.

Quoth the raven, "Nevermore"

(Translation: Keep your hands off me, you cadaverous morbid-story-writing bastard!)

Besides "The Raven", what Poe stories do you enjoy? "Pit and the Pendulum" I enjoy, though a bit "DEM" at the end.........

I don't mind you posting in verse, as long as it has correct punctuation and capitalisation, savvy?

Ahhh, Amontillado. Does the Stephen King story "Dolan's Cadillac" sound familiar?

Oh, and the "Tell-Tale Heart". Poe discovered psychological horror well before Silent Hill....

Soul wrought of terror corrupt
Poe could twist and tort minds
Madness and fear tooled into frightful works
And shake the perceptive that binds
.

Nothing against Poe, but I prefer Lovecraft.......

(BTW, The opening of that verse was a line from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, albeit with one word changed. People in the game referred to Chaos as "Soul wrought of terra corrupt.")

Dude, I don't know about you, but I really get a kick out of Flagg's writing style. It's really refreshing to see something different. If he's going to post like this, to hell with punctuation and capitalisation.

Tomb words scratched by quill,
echo's of forgotten lore,
bright in places black and still,
gently rapping at my door,
I too was here, and nothing more.

‘Over the Mountains
Of the Moon,
Down the Valley of the Shadow,
Ride, boldly ride,’
The shade replied,—
‘If you seek for Eldorado!’

Ah well, if you're not going to be HPL, by all means be Poe ! !!

(I'd toast you with a glass of absinthe, but I'm on the wagon for now.)

Shush you. Let the adults discuss literature. I'd think Edgar Allen Poe'd have a heart attack is he saw l33t speek.

Using all-caps in a sentence is the sure sign of an NT mind, and a small one at that! Ethnic slurs are also not allowed here.
