for me, it would be chocolate peanut butter mountain bars piled as high as the eye could see. or innumerable wheels of aged soft room temperature sharp cheddar cheese.

Thinking about this question right now...

As a seeker for Christ, this doesn't match heaven. Heaven is a waiting place for New Creation when Jesus returns.

As a former atheist, that's so contradictory. It just doesn't make sense. Why would there be an afterlife if there is no God?

1] this poll is a bit tongue-in-cheek, and 2] we each have difference conceptions of heaven, there is no accounting for taste nor belief.

that is why I used the term "paradise" which doesn't have to be an afterlife heaven-like place but it is the most wonderful place a person could conceive of being in at least in one's dreams. in otherwords, I plead with you to humor me a bit.

Not many choices but of them I voted for carnivore's delights.

Infinite variety, with nothing ever repeated except on request. I could name some of my favorite foods, but they'd all grow tiresome if eaten too often.

You may not have included many options, but you managed to pick my top 3. :D I want chocolate, ice cream, AND meat. My version of heaven includes everyone getting a new, perfectly working body, and I will finally be able to eat the first two without upsetting my digestion, and meat is just very expensive on my section of earth so I don't get it much.

If I could choose 3, I would want every flavour of ice cream/sherbet, chocolate peanut butter mountain bars, and tropical fruit.

I've adopted Jainism as a way of life, and since a lot of us are fruitarians, I guess I'd have to go with the tropical fruit selection.

(We're not supposed to eat root vegetables because uprooting them kills the plant and we profess non-violence to all living things).

I would say the aged soft room temperature sharp cheddar cheese, and if I had the choice, I would have nachos to go with the cheese.

Fried shrimp (crumbed. "Breaded" for the US folk. Funny how I learnt that).
