I always feel bad when other people say they shower once or twice a day...I only shower when I know I look dirty (if I'm going to be seeing other people) or if something is happening that I "need" to feel clean for...like seeing my favorite movie or something (that's the OCD there). Otherwise I'm not that fussed about going several days without one.
My brother used to mark on the calendar the days I took a shower. It's weird, because, like others have said, I don't really mind showering (aside from being cold and wet when I get out), but it takes time. Aside from the shower itself, you also need to get dressed and wait for your hair to dry. My skin also feels dry and itchy afterwards, and I hate the feel of lotion too much to use moisturizer (or sunscreen).
Like you've said, I shower when I feel dirty, which, considering the fact that I spend most of my time seated in an air-conditioned office, isn't all that often. If I've just changed the oil in my car or gotten swety doing something, sure, but for the most part I don't feel like it's necessary. If it weren't for the fact that my hair gets oily after too long, I wouldn't shower as often, either.
