a freind told me about google maps moon it's exacxtly as it sounds, a map of the moon online where you can go and zoom in on the lunar landings and stuff, i thought it was really neat until i got their, see for yourself:

actually, not everybody knows that. some people think that it's an asteroid that earth's gravity eroded into the shape of a sphere
and it wasn't another planet it was an asteroid the size of mars
