look. Aspies have been around since Caveman. people just thought they were weird, because AS didn't have a name yet. Stop saying the world was "made by Nt's" or the rules of the world were! They were not, as Aspies have been contributing forever!

And just because you have a certain difference, or something you think is a difference, does not mean that all aspies share that difference! Stop saying "I'm an aspie so I insert random thing here" or "as aspies we" There are somethings yes, that are known aspie traits, but just because you don't mind strangers seeing you in dirty nasty clothes, doesn't mean we all feel that way! Ok.

Have you ever thought that somethings might just be you, and not because of AS? In otherwords, if you didn't have AS these things would still be around?

Such as I chew my nails. Thats probably just something I do. I mean really!

and generalizations like "aspies pace a lot" I hardly ever pace! You may pace but ti doesn't mean all aspies pace!

Knowing how pedantic people can be online. I'm always fearful I'm never writing a detailed and fully references post that could pass the scrutiny of a potential lawyer out there ready to poke me with a stick.

Here is an example of the type of wording one would need to avoid problems the OPster suggest.(data made up)

In numerous studies it has been demostrated that nail biting is assocaited with aspergers. The low range was 37% and high was 53% [1,2,3].

Don't be annoyed that we made the world what it is today. :)

We are an obscurity, and being left alone should be a good thing. ;)

That is an interesting assumption, I am qute interested in your research into this! I just read a great article yesterday how Homo habilis and Homo erectus actually lived in separate niches for over a half million years!

I love stuff like this and include the web site for anyone else interested, too.

Please include any information on Aspies and 'cavemen' that is FASCINATING they know this stuff! I would be much obliged! :)

Well said!
We tend to forget everyone in this world is different and unique. Sometimes it helps us as humans to place ourselves into categories like AS and NT so we can better understand who we are individually.
However, we also have to remember that AS or not, everyone varies in likes, dislikes, sensory issues, and social skills.
We are all special! :D

Well clearly Homo Habilis and Homo Erectus were aspies- they stayed in their own niches and never even tried to socialize with one another!
