I hate the secular part, the pagan traditions, the significance of the December 25 date itself, Christmas trees, presents, the fact that many non-Christians celebrate it. I especially dislike Santa Claus.

You're being an idiot. Last I checked, Jesus was born in March. December 25, according to one article is from natalis solis invicti and the birthday of Mithras. It is a pagan holiday.

your only right about the 25th being the pagan winter solstice. nobody knows when jesus was born, the reason his birthday is on the 25th is to squash paganism. im guessing its a good idea nobody knows what day he was born because they'd worship it. kindof like what there doing now

Like I said. I believe he was born in March. An astronomer calculated it.

I'm a HUGE "scrooge" and have been for awhile now. (Since my daughter was murdered to be completely honest)
I'v also heard that he was born in March. However, regardless of when Jesus (if there is/was a Jesus) was born I feel you should't call others an "idiot" for expressing their opinion.
"Play nice with each other, it's Christmas :D "

Do you understand the adversity I experience on this board everyday for my beliefs as a Christian, right-winger with an interest in God and prophecy? I get called an idiot here everyday by multiple people. Trust me, he's a big boy, he can handle it.

Is that how you promote "Christianity" by calling others names for spelling errors?
I thought you were supposed to "help others who are less fortunate, turn the other cheek" and all that. Maybe your over-looking the humanitarian aspects of your chosen religion.

Like most things, it was stolen from Baal, The Sun God.

He has risen, was Baal's rebirth, life returning from death.

Mithras stole it.

Christians took the Feast of Istar for their rebirth.

The fertility goddess who came to Earth in an egg.

Most of the Bible is from the Ras Shamra Text, from the Temple of Baal.

Same dates, same religion, only the names of the gods have been changed for commercial purpose.

No one was named Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, that is from the King James Version.

All the works of the Romans and Greeks were burned by the Christians, we got them back from the Arabs in 1300.

Still twisting history I see. I am not Pagani, or a Heath Dweller, Pagan and Heathen, they were only our friends and neighbors. I am a Sorcerer, someone who uses sources other than the edited Christian view you demand us to bow down to. Bow to you and your view, on my knees before you? I would rather die on my feet.

Christmas sucks; too much money is needed to enjoy the festive spirit.
Let the christians have it, if they want it. less bother for me
