If I were to guess.. sadly I'd have to say Microsoft due to their wealth alone. Otherwise I would place my bets on Nintendo.

As a 90s kid I grew up with Nintendo and Sega. I was never a big fan of the Playstation. Nintendo all the way!

Yea Nintendo Would Win I think Because they have taken gaming and learning into somthing fun and thier Wii consale gets people up and around Plus Docters are Perscribing it to people for Exersize. Nintendo Cares about the fans probbly more then anything and since the Wii is so cheap they get money faster then the others cause the cheaper it is the more oftan people can afford it and the more who bye it the more quicker the cash rolls in. you know?

i wouldnt want one company to win but rather two: sony and nintendo.

they take so different approaches to things that they complement each other very well.

microsoft, as far as im concerned, can go to hell, as they didnt do anything of the slightest interest to me - except butchering brands, which is a shame.

If going by current generation consoles (still called next gen by most), I'd say Nintendo. It's just they're cheapest, gimmicky enough to appeal to a wider audience with the unusual controllers and they've released their console at a decent enough time to help with sales.

Next I'll say Sony. They arguably won the last round with the PS2. Most units sold out of PS2/XBOX/NGC, more games for the PS2 than either of it's rivals and most decent games on the other consoles came out on PC later anyway. Despite the superior ATi graphics of the Gamecube and the more powerful XBox, the PS2 was out first and garnered more fans before the competitors could properly establish themselves.

Lastly Microsoft. Both consoles seemed to be little more than average PCs with good graphic cards. And most good games came out on PC anyways. Halo, Fable, Morrowind, Oblivion...

Microsoft delivered first DOS, and then windows. Platforms on which games companies delivered more and more complex games, which had far more depth than were ever delivered onto consoles at the time.

So Microsoft did do gaming a service, even if their own in house delivery of games and handling of games companies was a little short of ideal.

I like the fact that Nintendo don't need all this fancy HD Graphics stuff, Nintendo can make brilliant graphics without HD, like with Super Mario Galaxies. And, the music:

Fine I'll be the stick in the mud. Sony. :P

Only because I am so heavily time invested in those products though. It is also fun to be a non conformist amongst non conformists.
