Spokane is my favorite city because Benny & Joon was filmed there and it also took place there too.



I think lot of people here are aware I am obsessed with the city. How did you know? Is it my name, or my B&J avatar, or have you seen me mentioning it in the past?

Spokane-Girl, how do you do your Spokane obsession? Is it exhaustive research about the city, or mostly daydreaming about living there?

I live in Alberta, but we get the Spokane channels

I don't research it, it's the same information and everything. I just daydream about it and think about it. I don't really want to live there, there isn't much there and I think their transportation isn't good. I'd rather not have to drive my car everyday. Sure I fantasize about it like getting a job promotion from there and I live close enough downtown I can walk to work. But I have a boyfriend and he has a job too.

I don't get exhausted, the thoughts just float in my head.

That's cool, I'm going to go to New Zealand and check out Lake Taupo, have to get my ass back to work first, just haven't felt like it. In the farther future I want to stand on Krakatoa.

Do you post on forums related to Spokane? I post on a few forums where they do have discussions on specific cities and the sort.

No I have never seen a forum about the town except for one but it wasn't very active. I even tried registering there once but never got the email from the site for me to activate my account. I had a question about the upcoming Weird Al concert there.

I have developed a similar obsession with Barcelona, Spain.

OMG you are obsessed with Benny and Joon, haha. BTW I didn't even know WTF Spokane was until reading this post. I now know that it's a place.
