When I was a kid growing up in the 50's we used to have waffles/syrup and sausage or bacon for Sunday evening meal. 'Course back then we didn't have these frozen things, we had a waffle iron. I hated getting syrup on my sausage/bacon. We just had lunch at lunch, not a Sunday dinner, so I felt cheated out of a proper meal. That sorta caused me to be a bit prejudiced against waffles. Pancakes are OK, but I can't have syrup anymore, so I guess this doesn't really concern me anyway...

Waffling topic

I am getting hungry. I admit I like waffles because of the syrup, so I also like pancakes.

I was on a Waffle kick for a while, got an antique waffle iron, and I would make banana waffles, or have bacon waffles. I don't care for the frozen ones, they are to dry.

I love waffles. I wonder if they have diabetic waffles.

1) French Toast
2) Gourmet Belgian Waffles
3) Pancakes

I do not like people who waffle, as in wafflers who are waffling.

Syrup was one of the only three ways you could get me to eat sausage (the other two are ketchup and smoked).

I guess I'm not the only one, because now they make sausage patties with syrup already in them.
