Vista Speech Recognition sucks in general, I have been told, but it seems to be even worse for those who don't speak non-American accents.

It is because of his New Zealand accent, we ausies often give them a hard time as they can not say fish and chips.

I thought they called what North Americans called fries, chips in UK, Australia, and NZ, no?

The most amusing feature of the New Zealand accent, I think, is the pronounciation of the short "e" as an American short "i". It's a friggin sexy accent though; any Kiwi guys with difficulty getting women should go to the US.

In New Zealand we says 'chips'.

But I noticed in McDonalds in Australia - they use the term 'fries'

oi what is with the kiwi bashing huh :lol:
ya know when I was in aussie my cousin mates was despretaly trying to get me to say 6 and fish and chips. So I was like 'ok mate lets go get a sex pack and some fush and chups'. But then I got also got asked what part of Victoria I was from I am a keewee with a southern accent (I still roll my r's) but also sound a bit aussie :lol:
