I did some clothes shopping this morning. I'm now setting up a FreeBSD (free UNIX operating system) virtual machine to try and see if I can do something that would be useful for work. What about you?

I don't envy you there, I hate clothes shopping. I don't even like it online never mind in the shop. I thought all UNIX based operating systems were free? The only one I've used is Ubuntu which I quite liked. I didn't go out today due to the rather poor weather here. So I continued watching my latest TV series of choice and watched some olympic football. My glove came today so my next golf trip shouldn't be so rough on my hand.

I hate it too, but I needed some stuff. I didn't need shoes though, so that's good (because I hate having to interact with people more when doing that, lol). What do you do when you need clothes? Do you buy online?

Not all UNIX like systems are free. Currently in use, IBM have their own proprietary one (AIX) and of course there are some Linux distributions that you don't get free (like Red Hat Enterprise).

Oh no, has it been raining heavily? :(. Are you planning to go out again soon? There was light rain here and I managed to walk for an hour :D.

Which is your series of choice now? Sorry if you've mentioned that before; I've forgotten. Was it a comedy? Perhaps I have vague memories of you mentioning that. Yay for the glove arriving. Any plans to play soon?

Least that's a plus, I know when I try get shoes in store I don't usually have much luck being a size 12, sometimes a 13 if they are small made. I almost exclusively get my clothes online unless for whatever reason I can't get what I'm looking for. Its a good thing most of them are free license though and has increasing support for the platform. It has been pretty strange weather, been a mix of sun and then some heavy rain, mostly rain though.

I was after a new sitcom since I've watched through a number of them so started watching Community which I quite enjoy. I can't watch sitcoms like Friends though, I find those kind of shows too mind numbing to watch. Glove feels a bit tight but apparently they are meant to be quite snug, but seems too tight. Might have to replace it for an XL one, I didn't think my hand was that big either  Hopefully I will get to play at some point next week.

I've had that a bit with shoes, too (I'm 10 or 11 sometimes). Personally I prefer to get clothes in store, as I find I need to try them on (some places have different definitions of a given size!). Still, if online works for you, that's good :D. I've come to expect "mostly rain" as the norm this year!

I hadn't heard of Community before now and looking at the cast, I don't recognise any of the names. I was never the biggest fan of Friends either and preferred Everybody Loves Raymond and Frasier (I hope those aren't the mind numbing kind you hate! ).

Hmm, there's probably quite an obvious difference between snug and too tight, so I'd guess you're right about needing to replace it. Hurrah! Hopefully the rain will hold off so you get to play :D.

I have a good idea what my sizes are for different clothes and brands. But it can be quite varied at times. On the off chance something doesn't fit usually a quick exchange in store can be done. I hope not, I prefer it dry and a bit cold!

I actually enjoyed both those shows, Frank was my favorite in Raymond, I never watched a great deal of Frasier but remember it having quite witty dialogue. I guess they will have to be replace, annoying though, curse these big hands! I hope it stays dry, if not I could still go to the driving range.

Hurrah :D. I got a belt today and as I couldn't try it on, I was worried that it wouldn't fit (even though I know my waist size). All was good, though. Dy and a bit cold sounds pretty good. I like it how it was today really (it wasn't particularly cold or warm!).

Ah yes, Frank had some good lines (though none come to mind right now). Typical British, soldiering on in the rain I suppose!

Right, I think I'm going to go to bed soonish, so I'll see you tomorrow perhaps! Enjoy the rest of the night :).

That's good it fits then. I'm glad my clothing size is consistent now, had to get rid of some clothes last year that I was no longer large enough for  I get hot pretty easy, so I suppose that's why I like the cold. OK, hopefully talk to you tomorrow then. Goodnight z3n :)

Oh yeah, I've had to get rid of clothes too because they're too big for me now. I have a pair of trousers that need to go, actually. Oh and I got my mum to take in a pair of shorts I have so I can wear them on holiday, because they really are too big for me as is and would not stay on me!

Anyway, good night again :).
