What could be the significance of, "I don't hate you?"
Could it be an ancient word of reassurance, as old as language itself? Could it be an example of a case where history repeats itself in the future, where it is required due to the downward progression of society? Is it a symbol of the acceptance of the futility of fate and the course of events in the future? Could it be addressed toward the robot? Might it even be a heart-felt plea for the portrayed robot's acceptance of the sentient biological intelligences? Could it be its request for forgiveness after pursuing events in which it was forced to take desperate measures to save mankind?
We may never know.
