a youth worker at my youthgroup suggested that i look up arabic classes in rockdale(where you live if you are arab and live in the south of sydney) because she knows i want to learn to read/write arabic and go beyond spoken casual arabic and she used to work someplace there that taught free classes in lebanese arabic(i dont want to accidentally learn saudi arabic or egyptian whatever). only thing is i cant find them. it is really frustrating. maybe i can go to the council or community info centres and ask there. or go to the mosques and see if there is anybody i can ask. apparently they run classes. i dont want to mix with the christians: the community is small so they probably know my family. i looked up the arabic school i went to when i was a kid but it looks like a private school if it was it. the high end sort. different to the convent that i remember going to on saturdays and paying $2 for.

Me needs to find more atrocities/disasters to get mini-obsessed with.

The only tragedy I could see of this "event" are politicians who milk it for all it's worth and that nothing has been learned, having flash backs now of the Simpson's, Hommer in a stupid like stupor says to Marge : Marge I haven't learned a thing.
