Just finished the leftovers of my mom's spaghetti

I'm nervous, but on the surface I seem calm and ready
To drop bombs, but I keep on forgetting
What I wrote down, the whole crowd goes so loud
I open my mouth, but the words won't come out

I signed a contract a few days prior to write articles for my school's newspaper.

I don't know how much I'll be paid, but I know is I'll be paid per finished article.

Barb and I were in Tim Horton's today. She told me. "You don't sound very happy today....I'm going home." I told her that I haven't been getting much sleep lately. If she had to go through the stuff that I go through, being transgender and being of a German spirit around Remembrance Day, she would be in a psych ward. She wouldn't be able to deal with my set of issues, because she hasn't been conditioned to over the decades of her life, because she's not me.

I seem to alternate between living life reluctantly and ardently. I don't know which of those approaches is superior. Many people would say the latter is superior, but in practice, that lifestyle often presents more problems than it seems to be worth. The main reason to choose the former is that it helps maintain peace externally, if not internally. The latter approach is sometimes seen as selfish. The former approach can upset the people who love you because it's distressing to watch someone suppress themselves for long periods. You're screwed either way. Is there a middle ground? If there is, I haven't found it yet.

Middle is being realistic. You don't realize it, but you are almost close to being realistic. It happens when you get older. By being realistic, you are looking beyond emotion and doubt.
