What are apple chips? :o

Cinnamon Grahams (or as they're now apparently called, "Curiously Cinnamon", although I'd say its pretty obvious they're cinnamon myself :P )

Maybe posting in this thread will help me get on track. By, y'know, tracking stuff.

Last evening, I again broke down and ordered Chinese food. I found the braised pork belly. OMG. I ordered another dish, but I should have gotten vegetables. The pork and dried tofu did have some veggies, but it was also a pretty heavy dish. I stayed awake for a few hours after I ate, but still I'm awake right now with heartburn.

The key is going to be having the right food on hand, and there are a lot of cheap, easy, nutritious things that I like. It will be easier to buy things like a cabbage when I have housemates again. By myself, I can eat a cabbage, but I generally won't.

I wish I had a bigger fridge. Lately, I really like cooking some meat that's a little on the greasy side and piling it into one of those plastic cartons of mixed greens. That is one of my new favorite meals, but it requires frequent shopping trips.

You need a cookbook.
A good cookbook.
I myself have "the hungry student" one because its cheap. It has some nice dishes (and just plain weird ones, like, who the hell in their right minds comes up with vodka pasta?), and they're easy to make.

Most people don't care if food is healthy, only that it is tasty and/or is easy+cheap.

Mandarin oranges for lunch. I am trying to maintain a healthy, balanced diet on my own terms.
