Trying to re-hang my living room door after cracks appeared in the frame. It is the only solid wood internal door in my flat, the rest are filled with card and it has some weight to it. Yes i dropped in on my toe and yes, it's still off it's hinges.

I found out my grandfather has cancer...Again. And one of his previous cancers came back. And he likely has even more cancer, but he refused testing. It sounds like his chances aren't too good this time.

If people think I'm all these good things, then why aren't they interested in being close to me? Why am I a passing distraction or a source of advice? Clearly the compliments I get aren't as genuine as I thought they were.

Maybe I should try dolling myself up, batting my lashes, and playing stupid and self-centered. Even that seems more successful than my current approach.
