I dreamt that I was listening to a pair of experimental futuristic speakers that consisted of a modulated flame. the sound was very pure to the point where I could "hear" the electronic signature of every step in the recording chain. the stereo imaging was like the performers were in my living room but with a subtle overlay of electronic hash. I researched it afterwards, and such speakers actually exist. :dj:

Last night I dreamed that I was at Hogwarts [the magic school from the Harry Potter series]. I was hanging out with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and we went exploring. We discovered a neat room with an enchanted piano in it, and I sat down to play while the other three had an animated discussion about Voldemort or whatever. Apparently there was a large group of keys in the middle of the piano that I wasn't allowed to touch, but I accidentally played them anyway. They sounded sort of bell-like or harp-like. I interrupted the trio's discussion, and said 'Sorry.' Then we went around to where the teachers were setting up this glowy magical barrier thing, and we went inside. Then things got really weird. We had a Pokemon battle in the middle of Hogwarts. I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books in weeks, and I haven't played Pokemon in weeks. [Although this isn't the first time I've dreamed about Hogwarts...]

My last weird dream actually happened last night - I was a United States Marine serving in the Pacific Theatre. I was on an island fighting against the Japanese, when I was surrounded by smoke from an explosion. The smoke cleared and I was in the 21st Century and in my hometown, from where all of my infantry company originated. I'd found out what happened to most of my comrades-in-arms during the post war years and then, as swiftly as I had appeared, I was taken back to 1944 and the island, resuming a life or death struggle somewhere in the Pacific.

^^^mebbe that was a past-life remembrance? :idea: if I was an American marine in that lifetime, I think i'd also be an NZer in this one.
