1863. While the United States was embroiled in civil war, the Creedon Republic was enjoying a period of reconstruction from its own civil war a decade earlier. Songs like this made everyone forget that there was conflict to our south. It was also around this same time I was "shanghaied" to go into the army, something I despsied. But when I was in the academy, I excelled.
