the realization that i am perpetually close to death.

i don't think i'm any more likely to survive another day than someone in his 70s is...provided he's in good health.

the usual disease, freak accidents, morons behind the wheel ......and my subpar oral hygeine. :oops: (i should do something about that)

i'm just saying that i don't see how i am less vulnerable to those than someone older than me and in my position.

^^^you can do something about that last thing, plus you'll enjoy the fact that your mouth will taste better to you. :chef: flossing regularly is much easier than having a cup next to the sink in which to put your false teeth to bed.
