When I was 11-12 years old, I went through an unfortunate shoplifting phase.

1. I stole a jacks set at a store called McCrory's, and didn't get caught.

2. I stole a book about the history of the National Basketball Association from a bookstore, and didn't get caught.

3. I stole a book about a bunch of great baseball players from the same bookstore, and didn't get caught.

3. I don't think you cared very much about baseball

I used to like baseball. I used to like the Yankees and Mets.

When the Mets used to screw up, I would throw stuff at the TV---but not like when the Knicks screwed up.

I used to throw tantrums in bowling alleys, and get thrown out.

Much later, I accidentally dropped a bowling ball on my girlfriend's foot. Fortunately, she wasn't injured.

Is shoplifting an autism thing? Or an impulse / ADHD thing? Or its own thing? (in general for people).

So was I right? Was 3 a lie?

Your history seems almost as colourful as mine. Ha.

#1 is the lie. I got caught that time. They called my mother. She did nothing about it.

Still, I never shoplifted again.

2. I have no idea how to play Jacks
3. I have no idea how to play Checkers or Chess

I hardly ever played backgammon----but backgammon was all the range in the 1970s.

1. I taught somebody how to play chess----and the person beat me the first game we ever played.

2. I used to do pretty good at the game "Operation."

3. I've done really well at the "genus" version of "Trivial Pursuit."

I think 1. You are probably very good at Chess.

I LOVED THE GAME OPERATION!! !! I used to play it with my muppet toys in my play fort. I liked learning the body parts.
I wasn't very good at the fine motor but I liked it anyway because I liked little details.

Trivial is pretty good too, but I just like reading the cards. I don't do competition. (I will even play Scrabble alone).

I’m actually not very good at chess. I haven’t the patience.

I didn’t suck at Operation—but I wasn’t very good. That’s the correct answer.

Movie classics for my generation that I've never seen:

1. The Sound of Music
2. Anything involving James Bond
3. JAWS

2 are true
1 is false

The Sound of Music.

You’re the type to eat that movie up.

I saw JAWS in the theater. I had Burger King afterwards. My mother’s boyfriend made a big deal about taking me to Burger King.

I saw some Bond movies on TV throughout my life.

Didn’t see the Sound of Music until the 80s.

Actually, I haven't seen The Sound of Music. You're right, I eat the music up (sometimes?), but I still haven't been
inclined to watch it. I think I saw five minutes of it on television when I was young, and wasn't interested.

I haven't seen any James Bond.

I have seen JAWS a few times, including during its first release. I even saw a movie called The Deep that was based on it.

I went to Pickwick Day Camp when I was 6.

They made us sing “Doe, a deer, a female deer” constantly.

I hated that song.

They were teaching us to tie our shoes to that song.
