Who me? Or AA? Or Emma? Or Sylkat?

I'm here cuz I had *drama* and I'm pretty sure the other person got a better acceptance after the fact. That and I decided to take a break from WP because of said stuff...and got addicted to the facebook group....i.e. my second account which almost has more friends than my real account which is primarily composed of aspies. :P But I come around here when I have time. Musn't get addicted again...spare me the pain, I'm already addicted to the internet as a whole. Anyways, there's a long rant. Have a good day everyone :)

But just because people are regulars doesn't mean they can't feel unpopular :?

You have a good day too chrissy :)

I've posted on many hobby forums over the years and found that all of them have a self styled "inner elite" that exchange comments with each other but ignore everybody else.
They also hi-jack any thread and turn it into their own comedy routine.

Sadly, this even happens here on WP with high functioning members exchanging their lofty views whilst ignoring us commoners.

Quite true, it depends on the day for me - yesterday morning for example.

The only time I "ignore" people is when I don't know what to say to them.

Hi guys.

I like most of the members on this thread and I count as unpopular, so I'm officially joining. :)

TenPencePiece, I like your cone appreciation thread, I have a cone that lives right outside my front door.

Some time, if it isn't off-topic, could we about 'high- functioning'.
What does 'high-functioning refer to? Real life? Articulateness? Terminology? Quick comebacks? friendliness?
Sometimes I talk a lot on WP because it is difficult to carry on a conversation with other people in real life.
Some others here have said similar things about themselves. So, is 'high-functioning' a WP thing, or a IRL thing?

Oh! I wasn't expecting that - thank you :)

I think it depends on the person to me - I wish I could talk more in real life...but I think I'm actually losing confidence in myself and have been steadily since the beginning of winter.

It's a cool avatar, though. You have to admit that.
