So I thought after my fish had died I had cleaned my whole tank of its inhabitants. Turns out I missed a single Ghost Shrimp since they're so hard to see. I admire that, so I have decided to reward him with a new friend.
Anyone have any friend suggestions?

No offense, but arent the females the ugly ones? Its the males they sell at stores right?

The males are the ones with the elegant fins, yes. I always feel bad for them in stores because they're always in spaces that are way too small for them, because other fish will bite at their fins if they're put in with them. Probably okay with a shrimp, though, because the fish will stay farther up in the tank and the shrimp will stay at the bottom. I have seen females for sale in places, too. My dad used to be really into fish-keeping, I've been to a lot of pet/aquarium stores.

I've kept several aquaria of female bettas together, in what is known as a 'sorority'. I usually had odd numbers of 7 - 9 at once. The females don't have the same flowy fins as a veil-tailed male, but they can still be beautiful. I've had pink, yellow, orange, etc., and even marbled patterns. Depending on the species of female they have different types of fins. They will have a white dot on their underbelly which is their egg spot. I recommended female because they are less likely to attack your ghost shrimp. Males likely wouldn't either, but a female would be an even safer bet. Depending on the size of your aquarium you could have a few more females but I'd recommend at least 4-5. They might nip each other on the first day but they will settle down and be lovely pets, especially with a nice light and a filter.

I was able to get all my females at commercial pet shops. My sororities usually lasted 2+ years and I've likely had about 20 different females over the years.

That sounds cool! Ive only kept male bettas. I like the idea of the females since you'll know they cant breed. I kept fancy guppies in my big tank, and that was such a pain.

If you ever 'go beyond' the 'conflict thesis' and find yourself in compassion
consider 'science-purely-for-politics-sake' Lysenkoism..

(https://youtu.be/aax12eYKd4s?t=637) a threat

I would suggest the movie 'The signal' with Brenton Thwaites and Laurence Fishbourne to be a good sci-fi movie I would reccommend others to watch.

I honestly dont see what people like about partying. Theyre gross and loud and everyones wasted and handsy. Also the alcohol sucks and the music is so loud its essentially just soundwaves blasting my skull to pieces.
