It aggravates me when drivers honk behind me as I'm driving. They're always in some kind of rush.

My energy levels are low and my mood sad/down because of the seasonal changes (I suspect). I don't really feel like doing anything but doing nothing is far worse. I kick myself in the butt to get myself going however; it just needs to be done.

-The thought that my city tap water may be slowly rotting away my innards due to the chlorine and chemicals, even when I use a filter, and yet it's because of chlorine and chemicals that I haven't died from cholera or some other hideous water-born infection a long time ago.
-Ebola
-I bought some orange poster board to make Halloween cut-outs for my windows. I tried making a pumpkin Pac-Man (A Pac-O-Lantern?) but my markers seem to go dry the second they touch the paper. I don't know if it's because the markers are running out or the orange stuff covering the poster board is making them that way. I will try again on a small corner of a white board I also bought...
-Ebola
-I really need to start exercising, but doing anything more than 10 minutes is much harder and more painful now. I don't want to push myself too hard because I'm going to a couple of Halloween celebrations later this week, but if I'm too out of shape I might not enjoy them as much. Is this normal for someone being 40?
-Ebo- oh, never mind. :(
-I tried making some tea after removing my broken water filter. It tasted like poison. :eew: Until or if I get a new filter I may use bottled water, even though the ads guilt me by saying how the empty bottles end up in landfills. But I recycle them, so it's okay, isn't it? I guess not if the machines used for recycling give off pollution.

You just can't win.

My maternal grandparents died as a result of a car accident over twenty years ago. Their house was built nearly 100 years ago by my great grandfather. It sits on 3 acres with woods around it. My parents kept the house for several years before selling it to a cousin (As I was already married and had my own family, I did not believe it a wise choice to take over the house myself, which I could have done). The cousin who bought the house loved it, then he died. The house then ended up being bought by another cousin, and she has allowed another cousin to live in it. At first, the house was decorated very well. And before today, the last time I saw it, it looked like a postcard. But my mother wanted to look at the place today, so we (one of my sons, my parents, and I) went out to look at it. It looked bad. Paint is peeling, parts of the house are sagging, and the whole property looks very neglected. Ceilings have fallen in one of the outbuildings. The cousin wasn't home. It was just as well as I wasn't eager to talk to him after seeing how downhill the house is. The house has been in very good shape for decades up until now. Although he lives there, it still belongs to another cousin who I think would be upset about the neglect to the house. Anyway, I just feel sad now. The last image I have of the house is now a property in poor shape.

Distilled water is really good. I think the gallon bottles use less plastic than a gallons worth of little bottles.

"HEY EVERYONE I'M JORY'S NEIGHBOR AND I LIKE TO SHOUT EVERY SINGLE TELEPHONE CONVERSATION I HAVE AS LOUDLY AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE AND THERE'S NO PLACE I LIKE TO DO IT MORE THAN ON THE BALCONY WHERE EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN NOT ONLY THE APARTMENT BUILDING BUT ALSO THE ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD CAN HEAR, SO IF YOU'RE EVER VISITING KANSAS AND YOU SEE ME BE SURE TO PISS IN A CUP AND THROW IT IN MY FACE BECAUSE I DESERVE IT."

Ugh. :?
